Minchinhampton is located above the Stroud valleys, on the site of an ancient hill fort, nine miles west of Cirencester and twenty five miles from Bath. It is within easy reach of all the Cotswolds, and is surrounded by open common which is grazed by wandering cattle and horses, with superb views over the river Severn to the Welsh mountains
There are three golf courses near by, also gliding, horse riding, water sports, cycling, walking and many other activities. There is plenty of interesting sight-seeing around the historic towns and villages for which the Cotswolds are famous.
Within easy access are the M4 and M5 Motorways. London is 100 miles away.
To find Hyde Crest follow the A419 from either Motorway to Aston Down and Minchinhampton sign post. Turn towards Minchinhampton. We are the third house on the right, opposite the Ragged Cot Pub.
